Wakuden Woods Mulberry Day Campaign
To celebrate Mulberry Day (Kuwa no Hi), which is held on September 8th, the Wakuden Woods Art Museum and MORI Wakuden Restaurant will be holding a special campaign.
Overview
In 2007, Wakuden planted some 30,000 tries of 56 varieties in order to contribute to restoration of Kyotango’s natural forest. In memory of that contribution and to support Kyotango’s land and culture, Wakuden’s Wara Day Campaign includes the following special gifts for ALL visitors to the art museum from the 8th (tues) to the 13th (sun) of September:
- A free sweet desert made using mulberry at the restaurant
- Additional free samples at the Kumihama Workshop
Free samples are limited to 98 visitors per day.
For Residents of Kyotango
In addition to the above free gifts, residents of Kyotango can enter the Mitsumasa Anno Art Museum for free on Sunday, September 13th.
To qualify for free entry, residents must show a form of identity verification listing their address, such as a drivers license.
