In this program you will get outdoors, get hands on at an organic farm and refresh your mind and body while taking in the fresh air. This experience offers you the chance to reflect on your day to day lifestyle.

The farm staff will take turns guiding you around the land, which changes with the coming seasons. Once the tour is over, you will have free time to spend as you wish. You could take a nap under the shade of a tree, have a closer look at the vegetables that are growing or take a moment of pause and let your mind and body rest. If the weather is clear, you may choose to eat your lunch in the fields. Surround yourself with nature and spend your time as you wish.

30 years ago, Managing Direction of Bio Rabbits Corporation (ビオ・ラビッツ株式会社), Osamu Umemoto, quit his job at a major food company and dedicated himself to farming. Knowing the importance of the food you eat, he has been working in organic farming for about 20 years. Aside from harvesting Japan Agricultural Standards (JAS) certified organic vegetables, Umemoto produces additive-free goods, runs a cafe and offers unique farming and harvesting experiences. In addition, on top of his work sharing organic farming techniques, he is also working towards making local school meals contain 100% local food and educating school students about food and nutrition.
03 To the fields
Those eating the Cafe Lunch will eat lunch first then go to the fields after. Those eating the Grill Lunch will go to the fields first then each lunch after.
04 Lunch

You can eat your lunch in the cafe, or if the weather is clear you can eat in the fields.

05 Harvesting Experience

In this experience, you will harvest seasonal vegetables. If you pick a lot, you can take them home.

Please note
・The experience will be cancelled in the event of a typhoon or other severe weather conditions. In such a case, you will be informed by 5pm the night before by the staff at Tentomushi Batake.
・In the event of rainy weather, the experience will take place in the greenhouse.
