Kimono Shop Ikebe was once a weaver’s workshop, producing Tango chirimen silk.
After joining a wholesaler in Kyoto’s Muromachi district, the owner—a passionate kimono enthusiast—opened this retail store.
For 35 years since, we’ve been delivering uniquely stylish kimonos.
Our shop is located just steps away from the beautiful Hatchōhama Beach, on the Sea of Japan.
