This exhibition has been created and curated by Yoshiko Fukuda

Come to Komachi Park and see 400 of Yoshiko Fukuda’s hand made dolls. These dolls depict scenes from tales from around the world and have been created after extensive research of the historical context, clothing, culture ad lifestyle of the time.

The dolls are the absolutely smallest size that can be made by a machine (about the size of a baby’s finger!) and the unique Tango Silk Brocade used for the clothes is a symbol of Kyotango’s strong cultural heritage.
