The beautiful sea is the pride of Kyotango, and you can take some of it home with you by making your very own sea salt.
It will give your cooking a fresh and natural flavour that is sure to bring a smile your lips every time you taste it. The salt workshop is run by a gentle soul who goes by the nickname Shiojii, meaning 'Old Man Salt'.

It takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour to make the salt, and there are 3 time slots available. Salt making is not available on Sunday or national holidays, otherwise it is open all year round
