Soba Noodle Making
Hand Made Soba Noodles
The noodles are made with 100% buckwheat flour, no preservatives or additives, making these noodles flavourful, traditional, and healthy. One bowl will be enough to feed 4-5 people, so if you come as a group there is enough for everyone, and there are plenty of steps so everyone can help out with making it too.
You can either take the uncooked soba noodles home, or they will cook it for you and you can enjoy it in this idyllic natural setting.

It takes about an hour to make the noodles. There are 2 time slots which can be booked. They are closed between December 28th and January 3rd.

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advanced.

Cancellations must be made before the day of reservation. Cancellations made after 4:00pm JST the day before will be treated as same day cancellations.
The following conditions may also be treated as same day cancellations:
1 Cancellation requests made when the activities are closed (usually, but not limited to, Mondays, Tuesdays).
2 Cancellation requests made when Kyotango Tourism Association is closed (usually, but not limited to, Sundays).
