Kyotango Mairingen Distillery

Set in a mountain forest on the Tango Peninsula where more than 300 kinds of medicinal herbs and medicinal tress grow wild. In the rich forests of Tango Amanohashidate Oeyama National Park plants are hand-picked in the morning and distilled while fresh.

Their craft gin contains the forest’s bounty and shares the “scent of the forest” with all who enjoy it.

In 2025, the Mairingen Fresh Craft Gin (Original) was awarded Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and was nominated for Best of Class. The Mairingen Extra Fresh Craft Gin 2024 (Premium) also won the gold – quite the feat for under 1 year since creation.
