Recently opened to the public in June 2024, Tango Open Center is an open factory offering the chance to see firsthand how Tango Chirimen silk is processed and manufactured, and learn the industry secrets that have kept the craft alive for over 300 years.
At the factory shop, there are a variety of locally made products on sale, including local Tango woven goods.
At the Open Center, you can see take part in fun activities such as “Cup Chirimen” Making Workshops, Tours of the Processing Plant and Fabric Dyeing Experiences. Learn more about the experiences here.
