Shimako Jinja Shrine

Shimako Shrine in Amino enshrines Shimako, also know as Urashima Taro, and his statue can be seen onsite. He features in many legends alongside Otohime, who is one of the seven princesses of Tango, and one version of their story can be read here.

If you visit Shimako Shrine and look to the far left, you can see Fukushima Shrine, which enshrines Otohime. The area around that shrine is said to be where Urashima Taro and Otohime first met.
