Mitsumasa Anno Art Museum

ABOUT
THIS
SPOT

This museum exclusively hosts the works of Mitsumasa Anno. His soft, at times delicate, watercolor paintings feature landscapes and scenes from around the world. The museum’s building itself is a work of art. Designed by world-renowned architect, Tadao Ando.

You can also find the restaurant, wakuden-no-MORI, which uses the unique food culture of Tango and ingredients found in Wakuden Forest. It also houses the museum gift shop which sells limited-edition products with beautiful reproductions of Mitsumasa Anno’s charming illustrations.
