Kaico Collaborative Art Project
Sound Ensemble – Asking the Weaving Fairy

At the end of October, the collaborative art project Kaico will be holding a concert alongside the Tango Open Factory 2026.

Overview

Akio Suzuki, a sound artist and resident of Yosano, Kyotango, will be acting as the ensemble leader to create an ensemble expressing the presence of sound using tools meant for weaving. Following the performance in Fall of 2025, the ensemble is accepting new members to join them for this month’s performance.

During the workshop, join Akio in searching for your own sound within the music of the weaving tools. After the workshop, the ensemble will perform the song that they find, with a large room once used as a dying facility as the stage.
