Tango Kingdom “Shoku no Miyako” is among the largest roadside stations in Western Japan. Complete with a hotel and a host of restaurants (Ton’s Kitchen, Mountain & Sea, and more) Tango Kingdom has everything you need for a Kyotango stopover. There is even fruit picking and a petting zoo for visitors with children.
Before you leave make sure you visit the Tango Takumi-an souvenir shop. It has a lineup of Tango souvenirs such as Tango Chirimen silk crepe and a range of local craft beers inspired by the seven Kyotango Princesses.
