An exhibition of award winning pieces from the Tango Arts and Crafts Exihibition, the largest arts exhibition in northern Kyoto. A wide range of arts and crafts will be on display showcasing Tango’s Diverse Array of Artistic Works, including western and Japanese style paintings, photography and masks.

As well as the arts exhibition, during the Silver Week holidays (Saturday 9/19 – Wednesday 9/23), visitors can make their own arts and crafts pieces, enjoy some tea and view dance and ocarina performances.

Overview

The Exhibition will be open from September 10th to 28th. Workshops and schedule:

• 9/21 – 9/23 Tsumami-zaiku (folded fabric art making)
• 9/22 Original key holder making
• 9/20 and 9/27 Sencha Tea Salon, free tastings available for first 100 visitors
• 9/20 Dance performances from Studio JOY at 11:30 and 1:30
• 9/21 and 9/27 Ocarina performance from Lyrish Ocarina Alliance at 11:00 and 1:30
• 9/20 Food trucks will be present at the venue on this day only
