This year, the “Kumihama Bay Expo 2026” will once again be held at Amenity Kumihama Park.

Stroll through Kumihama’s historic streets, go rowing, and enjoy some great food. This event lets you experience all the charms of Kumihama.

The venue will feature the “Wanpaku Marche,” a gathering of food trucks, dining booths, handmade goods, and hands-on activity booths.
In Kumihama Bay, you can enjoy boating experiences such as canoeing, dragon boat racing, and riding traditional Maruko boats.

Additionally, a “Town Stroll Walk” will be held, allowing you to enjoy a leisurely stroll through the heart of Kumihama.
You can take your time exploring the historic streetscape and discovering the local charm.

■Wanpaku Marche
Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

■ Heian Cavalry Horseback Riding Experience
Time: Around 1:00 PM (tentative)
Eligibility: Ages 3 to 3rd grade

■ Boat Experience
(Registration)
Location: Kumihama Bay Canoe Center (inside the beach park)
Time: Starting at 10:00 AM on the day of the event (first-come, first-served; no advance reservations)
Fee: 300 yen per person per ride

*Age restrictions apply depending on the type of boat.
*Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting wet, as you may get splashed or fall into the water.
*Please bring a towel and a change of clothes.
*Activities may be canceled due to sea conditions or weather.

With a map in hand, explore the town while searching for hints and clues hidden throughout the area.
Collect points to get coupons you can use at the venue!
