Under the theme “A festival that cherishes the bond between the people of Tango and cats,” this event will be held in downtown Mineyama and at Kotohira Shrine.

It’s a day to experience the connections between people, cats, and the local community through “Komaneko,” a cat with ties to Tango. As you stroll through downtown Mineyama, you can enjoy a variety of cat-themed events. Explore a handmade craft market and find your perfect souvenier, watch the stage performances, and participate in drop-in experiences like candle making and tea ceremony.
