Standing at 540m tall, Mount Ichigao is the only mountain in the Tango peninsula to be selected as one of the 100 famous mountains of Kansai. The mountain offers panoramic views of the Sea of Japan and it makes up part of the Tango-Amanohashidate-Ōeyama Quasi-National Park.
