Camping
For those who wish to connect with nature and explore the outside, there is an array of campsites to choose from, dotted along the coastline at the beach and further inland.
- Access from Kansai
- We recommend visiting Kyotango from Kyoto or Osaka city for the easiest journey within 2.5 hours, but it is also possible to transfer to Kyotango by plane or train (and car) from Tokyo.
- Getting Around Kyotango
- As for getting around Kyotango, rental cars are the best way to explore the city and enjoy the scenic drives through nature and along the coast. Depending on where you stay, rental bicycles may also be a good option for local sightseeing.
